Aerospace Products S.E. Inc. (APSE) was established in 1987 and is owned jointly by Cherokee Nation Businesses, a wholly owned affiliate of the Cherokee Nation, and Acorn Growth Companies. The company was acquired in August of 2008 from the Wimberly family. As a tribally-owned small business, APSE and its customers are eligible to participate in the Indian Incentive Act Program.

APSE is part of the Services Group of AGC Aerospace & Defense.  AGC Aerospace & Defense is the operating brand of Acorn Growth Companies, an aerospace and defense private equity firm.

Headquartered in Huntsville, AL, APSE has additional facilities in San Antonio, TX. The company also maintains business development offices in Oklahoma City, OK and Salt Lake City, UT.

Well regarded for its ability to procure "hard to find" parts for military and commercial platforms, APSE also provides on-site supply chain integration services, inventory bin management, and kitting services to complement an extensive array of value added capabilities. This includes warehousing, distribution and replenishment of Government Furnished Parts (GFP), configuration management, distribution, procurement consolidation, replenishment and manufacture of component and sub assembly kits.

The U.S. Small Business Administration awarded APSE the 2004 SBA Regional Subcontractor of the Year for SBA Region IV which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The nomination originated from Boeing Global Support & Services, San Antonio, Texas, for outstanding performance to contract.
